We always drive when we travel to Disneyland. We're about 350 miles away and the drive isn't too bad... Plus we have some stops we like to make along the way so it breaks up the monotony of the long road trip.
We got Scarlett some PlayDoh for the car ride and she had a blast making "cookies" and just playing in the backseat. Of course, now I have a ton of dried up old PlayDoh all over the car, but that's a small price to pay for a happy kid on a road trip.
We always make a stop at Bravo Farms in Kettleman City on our way. They have the best gift shop and ice cream parlor and Scarlett loves to play in the back play area where they have a ton of little playhouses for the kids.
It was so freaking hot! We do not to well in the heat - thankfully we were in an air conditioned car for the majority of the drive so it didn't bother us too much...
Our last stop was in Valencia where we grabbed some coffee, Scarlett checked in with Grandpa [who we were meeting at Disneyland] and we caught some rainbows!
We finally made it to the hotel! Scarlett was so happy to be there...
We grabbed some dinner at Earl of Sandwich and just relaxed...
And of course we had to finish off the evening with a swim in the pool. Scarlett even got to watch the fireworks from the pool! It was awesome.
Day One of Disneyland to come!
