oven s'mores



I attempted to make s'mores in the oven the other night-- not a total fail, but there's definitely room for improvement. Major improvement.

At first I used a piece of Ferrero Rocher candy for the chocolate portion and put the graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallow on a cookie sheet in the oven with the broiler on high. The poor mallows got fried but the chocolate didn't melt all the way through. Next time, I think I'll try to cut the chocolate in half so it gets more melty. 










I tried the second batch with dark chocolate chips instead and set the broiler to low. The marshmallows still got toasty but the chocolate melted perfectly. 









Nick didn't seem to mind the not so amazing s'mores...
